This place is awesome. I went on Halloween night. The venue was a decent size with two rooms-one room was the bar area and lounge and the other was the dance floor and stage. While the DJ was mixing the music, there was a drummer enhancing all the songs played- which was an amazing combo. I really love DJ Casey Connor she was dancing to the music the entire time which really pumped up the energy.

I lined up at around 10:30pm and the wait was pretty long even though the line was short. By the time I got in, the club was really jumping.

Funny story- one girl was trying to get in without waiting in line or paying because her friends were already in. She was trying to trick the bouncer by saying she just stepped out of the club and trying to get back in and another point her friends walked out to stand with her and pretended to go back as a group. The bouncer stopped her immediately and says to her that he has been standing in the front door all night and knows who she is and if she would have stood in line like he told her, she would have already been in. I was waiting in line for a while and I witness the whole thing. It is good to know no favors are done here no matter how little clothes you have on.

Overall, I definitely recommend Dakota for halloween night.
